Loved this study series about Jesus! Whereas other studies are wonderfully informative, there was something very special about this one ~ it feels as if you’re hanging out with your friends (friends who know a lot about Scripture and Jesus!), sharing and delighting in learning more and seeing more and deepening your own relationship with Jesus as you do. Add to this the beauty of walking in Jesus’ footsteps in the Holy Land, and you have a study that is an eye & heart opening joy!

I have been reading this book while using it with its accompanying workbook and videos to lead an adult study at my parish. The content of the book walks you through getting to know Jesus, why He came, and what the Lord has offered to us through His beloved Son. The text is very good at providing deep content with very easy-to-read writing. I think anyone from beginner to well-read Christian can read this book and take away much to meditate and pray on. I highly recommend both the book and its separate study materials. Everyone in our study has commented on how good this book is!

This study is unlike any other. It’s not a traditional Bible study, but an encounter with Jesus through the stories and witness of various people throughout the series. We get to hear from Dr. D’Ambrosio, his wife, Jeff Cavins, Bader (the Israeli guide), and many others. Through their insight and witness, you get to hear first hand how an encounter with Christ is life changing. You get to travel to the locations throughout the Holy Land where Jesus walked. If you want a new insight into what it means that Jesus is “the way, the truth and the life,” I highly recommend reading this book and watching the videos as well.
