February 21, 2016 @ 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm EST

A Talk by Marcellino D’Ambrosio, Ph.D.

The approach: After the first talk introduces Dr. D’Ambrosio and the theme of Catholicism as fullness, the following two talks focus on the most common yet misunderstood ways Catholics encounter God’s grace…in the Eucharist, and in the Sacrament of Penance.

The result: Participants walk away marveling at the treasures they have as Catholics and determined to unpack the riches of the Catholic faith in their Sunday worship and in their everyday lives.

Talk 1: Why Be Catholic?

The story of a young, Catholic rock ‘n roller who fell in love with Christ, and why he decided not to leave the Catholic Church. With his engaging personal witness, Dr. D’Ambrosio explains in a fresh, contemporary way that “Catholic” means fullness of life. Many Catholic distinctives are touched upon…from the Pope, to Mary and the Saints, to the Eucharist. The most popular talk for a parish or conference audience.

50 minute talk followed by a question and answer session.

Talk 2: Getting More out of the Mass.

Discusses the ways Jesus is truly present in the Mass with an especially clear and compelling explanation of Christ’s real, bodily presence in the Eucharist. Includes practical tips on making each mass a more life-changing and empowering event.

50 minute talk followed by a question and answer session.

Talk 3: Who needs Confession?

Dispels the many common misconceptions about this Sacrament, and shows how confession is a liberating gift rather than an embarrassing burden. This talk has helped many find their way back to confession after years away and has helped others find greater fruitfulness and frequency in their celebration of this sacrament.

50 minute talk followed by a question and answer session.
