Chance to Make a Difference!

November 22, 2024

Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,

It’s time to give thanks for the past year, and to prepare for a once-in-25-year Jubilee.  And the theme of Holy Year 2025 is – Pilgrims of Hope.

It is the gospel, the Good News, that brings hope to the world.  At the Crossroads Initiative, our core mission since 1988 has been to share the gospel of hope through pilgrimage and all forms of media:  TV, radio, internet, social media, print, and most recently – film!

(Below: Image from Triumph of the Heart, new film on the passion of St. Maximilian Kolbe, a project supported by Crossroads.)

You play a vital role in helping us to fulfill our mission of spreading the light, truth, and hope of Christ – we can’t do it without your help. Below are just some of the ways we’ve sought to serve the Lord in this past year:

  • We helped fund and guide what we believe will be an award-winning film on St. Maximilian Kolbe, bringing hope to the hopeless in Auschwitz. This powerful film, Triumph of the Heart, is to be released internationally during the Jubilee of hope in 2025.
  • We put the finishing touches on a landmark study on the Catechism of the Catholic Church, filmed all over the world in collaboration with Jeff Cavins and Dr. Edward Sri, to be released by Ascension Press in 2025.
  • We inspired 2,000+ people a day through the free resources on our website
  • We’ve also been working on new additions to our website’s free content, including soon-to-be-added videos from some of my speaking events, interviews, and show appearances (such as Catholic Answers LiveBible Timeline Show with Jeff Cavins, and the BeatiDudes)
  • We supported the US bishops’ Eucharistic Revival by developing and giving away a free ebook on the Eucharist to thousands, and we enriched thousands more with free ebooks on Advent/Christmas and Lent/Eastermaking the seasons of the Church Year more meaningful and life-changing.
  • We led hundreds on pilgrimages of hope in the footsteps of the saints in Italy, Germany, Austria, Hungary and Poland.

Our challenge has been that many of these important services are provided either for nominal thank-you gifts or for free, with minimal staff that go above and beyond.

We subsidize our projects and services largely through live speaking events and pilgrimages, but the violence in the Holy Land caused three of our trips to be cancelled.

We are fighting at this time not to let the misfortune with the pilgrimages and the current state of the economy push us backwards, stopping the forward progress of our mission.

Will you please help us now to maintain – and even expand – our work? As partners in our Crossroads ministry, we depend on you in a very special way.

How You Can Help

The thing we need most is pledged, recurring support to help us to pay monthly bills. We are looking for 100 people to pledge a dollar a day for the gospel, or $30/month ($120/quarter or $360 per year).

For those who can’t afford this, we are looking for 500 people to pledge $10/month or $120 per year. I hope you can find at least $10 per month to help us keep proclaiming God’s word.

Many would prefer to make a one-time gift. Of course, we would appreciate that greatly!

You can find instructions for making a pledge or gift below, but if you’d like to donate online, you can simply click here.

If you would like to donate over the phone, you can call our toll-free number: 800-803-0118 (this number only receives messages, so please leave your phone number when calling, and a Crossroads staff member will return your call).

If you would prefer to send a check, please make it out to:
