| Jim English - Nutritional-Science Editor and Author
James English is a widely published nutritional-science editor and author. Over the last 15 years Jim has earned a reputation for crafting solid, well-researched articles on nutritional supplements with an emphasis on their therapeutic role in preventing disease and enhancing health.
In 1991 Jim founded Smart Products, a pioneering supplement company producing a line of enhanced beverages designed to boost energy, enhance mental focus and improve general health. Quickly dubbed "smart drinks" by the media, beverages with names such as Orbit Juice, Ginkgo A-Go-Go and Quantum Punch rapidly spread from San Francisco to Los Angeles, New York, Europe and beyond.
On January 17, 1992, Jim introduced America to a number of new concepts, such as smart drugs, energy drinks, and cognitive-enhancing supplements like ginkgo biloba, while being interviewed by Nightline guest host, Barbara Walters.
The response to the Nightline interview quickly led to back-to-back appearances on NBC's A Closer Look, The Nightly News with Tom Brokaw, CNN, Larry King, and countless interviews in newspapers and magazines, including USA Today, The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, Kiplinger's, Newsweek, and Time Magazine.
In 2004 Jim launched a new company with renowned nutritional expert and licensed herbalist, John Steinke, L.Ac. The new venture, Tango Advanced Nutrition was created specifically to introduce a number of advanced "essence herb" formulas previously unavailable to Western consumers.
